Today’s Free Selections 23rd August
Posted on August 22nd, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Shallow Bay in the 19.15 at Windsor.This gelding was well backed on debut when finishing eighth to Boom Or Bust over this course earlier this month.He made progress half a mile from home and kept on steadily without being knocked about.He is entitled to show improvement today and could run well at a decent price.

Posted on August 8th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Bianca De Medici in the 19.40 at Windsor.This filly created a favourable impression on debut when finishing third to Julienas over this course last month.She was slowly away but made steady progress to run in to a place inside the final furlong.I think she will show improvement and should run well.

Posted on August 7th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Whisper Louise in the 15.30 at Windsor.This filly put up an improved effort last time out when beating Mama Lulu easily over this course last month.She cruised in to the lead a furlong from home and won going away.I think there is more to come and should be involved in the finish.

Posted on July 18th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Golden Tempest in the 19.10 at Windsor.This filly caught the eye on debut when finishing third to Instructress over this course last month.She was a little outpaced in the early stages but kept on in good style to sneak in to a place.She has ability and will appreciate the extra distance today.I think she will run well at a solid price.

Posted on July 11th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Harry Luck in the 19.40 at Windsor.This Red Ransom colt ran well on debut when finishing second to Dr Green over this course last month.He finished the race in good style and was well ahead of the third placed horse.I think he has ability and should run well in this interesting maiden.

Posted on June 27th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Blackdown Boy in the 19.40 at Windsor.This gelding created a favourable impression on debut when finishing second to The Confessor at Salisbury.He looked the likely winner inside the final furlong but was denied close home.He was a little disappointing on his next start when beaten at Bath but may not have been suited by the shorter trip.I think he will run well at a fair price.

Posted on June 20th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Bernie’s Moon in the 20.40 at Windsor.This US bred filly finished a closing fourth to Man Of Action on debut at Newmarket last month.She showed signs of immaturity but kept on really well in the closing stages .I think she is open to improvement and could run well at a big price.
