Today’s Free Selections 28th August
Posted on August 27th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Doncaster Rover in the 15.20 at Newmarket.This gelding is winless this year but has run well in defeat.He finished an excellent second to Main Aim at Haydock this spring with Betfair Cup winner Lord Shanakill back in fourth.He will not he hindered by the underfoot conditions today and should run well at a decent price.

Posted on August 6th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Musharakaat in the 14.35 at Newmarket.This filly by first season sire Ifraaj was impressive on debut when beating Sahafh easily at Kempton last month.She completely missed the break but picked up really well and won going away.She takes a huge step up in class today but i think she is open to significant improvement and could run well at a big price.

Posted on August 5th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Toms River Tess in the 17.40 at Newmarket.This Kodiac filly put in a much improved effort last time out when beating Kissing Clara at Doncaster.She quickened well a furlong from home and won easily.I think she is open to further improvement and should be involved in the finish. -

Posted on July 8th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Society Rock in the 15.10 at Newmarket.This colt put up a huge effort last time out when finishing second to Starspangledbanner in the Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot.Despite meeting interference he finished strongly to snatch second on the line.This three year old will have a strong pace to attack which will suit his running style. -

Posted on July 7th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Tazeez in the 15.10 at Newmarket.This Silver Hawk gelding finished a close third to Byword and Twice Over at Royal Ascot last month.He made most of the running but was denied close home.He often makes the running and could adopt similar tactics in this Group 2 event.I think he will run well at a fair price.

Posted on July 6th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Spacious in the 15.10 at Newmarket.This high class mare was narrowly beaten by Strawberrydaiquiri in the Windsor Forest at Ascot last month.She has plenty of placed efforts in Group 1 company and was third to the brilliant Goldikova in this race last year.I think she is the best of the older fillies and mares and could run well at a big price.

Posted on June 25th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Doncaster Rover in the 15.20 at Newmarket.This gelding has kept some pretty lofty company this season and was an excellent second to Prime Defender at Haydock last time out.I think this seven furlong trip is his ideal distance and he should run well.In addition he will appreciate the faster conditions today.

Posted on May 29th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Bursary in the 16.40 at Newmarket.This beautifully bred individual ran very well on debut when finishing third to Inqaath at Nottingham.He made most of the running but just failed to last home.Today he faces a huge field of maidens but i think he will go close.

Posted on May 1st, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Pollenator in the 15.20 at Newmarket.This Motivator filly put up a much improved effort when beating Hibaayeb in the May Hill at Doncaster last year.She has no stamina issues and will benefit from a fast face.Her trainer will have her razor sharp for this and she should run very well.
