Posted on September 6th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Bearheart in the 15.20 at Lingfield.This Aragorn colt finished a fair third to Layali Al Arab at Wolverhampton last month.He was sent off as the firm second choice but could never get to grips with the winner.I think he has ability and should run well in this nursery at a decent price.

Posted on August 31st, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Speedy Xaara in the 16.20 at Lingfield.This filly is a half-sister to the smart Mrs Kipling who won the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes at Hollywood Park last year.I do not think this race will take a lot of winning and her trainer should have her ready at the first time of asking.I think she will run well at a decent price.

Posted on August 25th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is His Grace in the 15.00 at Lingfield.This colt was the 80/20 selection when he finished second to Biaraafa earlier this month.He made most of the running and looked like winning a furlong from home but the winner proved to strong near the line.He refused to settle in the early stages of the race and expended a fair amount of energy.If he manages to relax today he could lose his maiden tag at a good price.

Posted on July 20th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Out Of Eden in the 16.00 at Lingfield.This colt by Monsun is steadily improving with racing at put up a decent effort when finishing second to Kensei at Sandown last month..He is bred to get further and will appreciate the extra distance today.He should be involved in the finish.

Posted on July 13th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Formidable Girl in the 16.00 at Lingfield.This well related filly is a half sister to the talented House Of Grace who finished third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf at Santa Anita last year.In addition she was most impressive on debut when thrashing a fair field on the turf at Saratoga.I believe this filly could be ready to do herself justice on debut and could run very well at a decent price.

Posted on May 6th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Aalsmeer in the 13.35 at Lingfield.This filly kept some pretty lofty company last season and finished an excellent third to Mister Manannan in a Listed event at Ayr in September.She comes in to this race as the clear form choice and should be involved in the finish.

Posted on April 29th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Count Of Anjou in the 13.40 at Lingfield.This colt put up a decent effort at HQ last time out when finishing third to Balducci.He finished the race willingly and was gaining on the winner close home.He sets a fair standard in this race and should go close.I would recommend monitoring the market carefully as he could attract support.

Posted on April 26th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Beachfire in the 14.30 at Lingfield.This colt by Indian Haven is a half brother to the smart Major Cadeaux and comes from a family i know very well.His conditioner has exercised a great deal of patience with this well related individual and did not race him at two.He should be ready to do himself justice on debut and could run well at a decent price

Posted on April 6th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Dizziness in the 14.00 at Lingfield.This well related filly finished fifth to Emma Dora on debut at HQ last June.She was heavily backed that day but her lack of racecourse experience resulted in her missing the break.I think she is entitled to show improvement in this race and could run well at a decent price.

Posted on March 25th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Picnic Party in the 14.05 at Lingfield.This well related filly by Indian Ridge finished second to Jarrow last November over this course.She showed a fair bit of promise that day and is entitled to show improvement on her three year old debut.
