Posted on July 2nd, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Clowance in the 14.50 at Haydock.This lightly raced mare finished down the field behind the smart Harbinger on her seasonal reappearance in April.She was sent off as joint favourite but ran as if something was amiss and was rightly eased and allowed to coast home in her own time.She has some very good form in Group 1 company and was a game second to Alandi in the Irish St Leger.I think she could run well at a decent price.

Posted on May 28th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Angel’s Pursuit in the 14.30 at Haydock.This colt by July Cup winner Pastoral Pursuits put in a very good effort last time out when beating Society Rock at Newbury earlier this month.He quickened well and won a shade cosily in the end.I think he has more to offer and should run well.

Posted on May 21st, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Borderlescott in the 15.00 at Haydock.This eight year old gelding ran very well on his seasonal reappearance when finishing second to Equiano at HQ earlier this month.He ran on well all the way to the line but could not quite get to the winner.He is one of the most consistent sprinters in the country and should be involved in the finish.

Posted on May 20th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Flaneur in the 19.30 at Haydock.This gelding put up an improved effort last time out when finishing second to Ginger Ted at Hamilton.He tried to make all but was caught close home.He is in good heart at present and a bold bid is expected.

Posted on May 19th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Tilliemint in the 14.20 at Haydock.This Acclamation filly caught the eye on debut when finishing second to Sir Lunchalott at Thirsk earlier this month.She completely missed the break but was only denied close home.I think she is entitled to show improvement today and should be involved in the finish.

Posted on December 18th, 2009 1 commentToday’s 80/20 is McMurrough in the 15.25 at Haydock.This gelding put up a very respectable effort last time out when finishing seventh to the well regarded Diamond Harry over this course .He appeared not to get home over the extended three mile event and will be much better suited by the shorter trip today.He brings a fair level of form to the table and should be involved in the finish.

Posted on September 4th, 2009 No commentsAt Haydock today in the 2.25 Magicalmysterytour could run well at a decent price.This gelding has run well recently including a solid third to Hits Only Vic at York.Each-Way advised.
Today,s 80/20 is Fleeting Spirit in the 3.30 at Haydock.This filly was a brilliant winner of the July Cup at HQ in July and comes in to this race a fresh horse.If she produces her best effort today she will go very close in this race. -

Posted on May 28th, 2009 No commentsAt Haydock today in the 7.40 Admin should prove difficult to beat in the two year old contest.This Namid colt ran well on debut when finishing third in a Goodwood maiden.With normal improvement he should set the standard in this race.
