Posted on July 19th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Lamasaas in the 14.30 at Ffos Las .This colt is from the first crop of the smart Henny Hughes who retired prematurely through injury. He was a very fast two year old and his yearlings sold very well at auction.He should be ready to do himself justice on debut and could go close in this maiden.

Posted on April 5th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Superior Edge in the 14.55 at Ffos Las.This filly showed some ability last season when finishing fifth to Vanishing Grey at Bath.She was still a little backward that day and is entitled to show improvement on her three year old debut.I think she could run well at a big price.

Posted on January 16th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Babysitter in the 13.35 at Ffos Las.This lightly raced seven year old finished fourth to Quentin Collonges on Boxing Day.He had every chance coming to the second last hurdle but weakened suggesting that he did not quite get the trip.Today he has half a mile less to travel and should be involved in the finish

Posted on December 20th, 2009 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Googoobarabajagal in the 12.30 at Ffos Las.This individual was beaten as the favourite last time out when finishing second to Singapore Reef at Taunton.He had previously shown a fair level of form when finishing fourth to Peter Grimes at Bangor.I am prepared to give him another chance in this company and i think he could run well at a huge price.

Today’s 80/20 is Comehomequietly in the 13.40 at Ffos Las.This gelding ran well on his seasonal reappearance over this course when finishing second to Balthazar King in October.He kept on in good style suggesting that he will be suited by the longer trip today.I think he has some improvement in him and should run well today

Posted on September 12th, 2009 No commentsAt Bath today in the 3pm Swinbrook is worth a small interest in this claiming event.His conditioner applies blinkers for the first time today which should help him focus.Each-Way stakes advised.
Today’s 80/20 is Royal Etiquette in the 2.45 at Ffos Las.This filly showed a fair bit of promise on debut when finishing a closing third in a Salisbury maiden in July.She failed to build on that effort next time out when beaten at short odds behind Royal Box at Leicester.I am prepared to forgive that run and give her another chance against this field.
