Posted on August 2nd, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is The Best Mode in the 15.45 at Chepstow. This filly has some fair form in the context of this race notably finishing third to Rosina Grey at Bath in April in May.She is related to plenty of winners including the consistent Our Kes.She drops to selling company today and could run well at a fair price.

Today’s Free Selections 30th June
Posted on June 29th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Mega Mount in the 18.40 at Chepstow. This colt was well supported on debut when finishing third to Melodize at Warwick earlier this month. He showed signs of inexperience in the early stages but kept on in good style and finished the race willingly.I think he has more to offer and should go close. -
Today’s Free Selections 28th December 2009
Posted on December 27th, 2009 No commentsAt Chepstow today in the opening race at 12.25 Giles Cross could make all the running in this race.He will act on the ground and has solid claims.
Today’s 80/20 is Rougham in the 14.45 at Chepstow. This individual threw away his chance of winning last time out with some sloppy jumping when finishing second to Advisor at Newbury earlier this month. He clearly has ability and providing his jumping improves today should take a hand in the finish

Today’s Free Selections 5th December 2009
Posted on December 4th, 2009 No commentsAt Sandown today in the 13.55 Somersby has a chance to upset the odds-on favourite in this decent event. He is sure to act on the ground and if he can get the favourite off the bridle he will give him plenty to think about.
Today’s 80/20 is Bally Sands in the 13.35 at Chepstow. This gelding was last seen at Cheltenham in March when he finished tenth in the Spa Hurdle. He was sent off at 100/1 but ran fairly well considering the quality of the field.Today he has a more realistic chance in this field of maidens and he has form on heavy ground

Today’s 80/20 is Roko Dancer in the 13.10 at Chepstow . This gelding made his seasonal reappearance in a NHF race over this course earlier this month and finished a decent second to Sherwani Wolf.He kept on in fine style in the testing conditions which he will encounter again today.I think he should improve for that recent run and should be ready for his hurdles debut

Posted on September 3rd, 2009 No commentsAt Chepstow today in the 2.10 Venutius should give the favourite plenty to think about in this maiden. This Doyen gelding caught the eye on debut when finishing third to Janeiro at Yarmouth.
Today,s 80/20 is Mad Millie in the 2.30 at Catterick. This filly has hinted at ability finishing second to Makbullet in August.Last time out she was hopelessly outclassed behind Lady Of The Desert in the Lowther at York but today she has a realistic chance in this company.

Today,s Free Selections 5th May 2009
Posted on May 4th, 2009 No commentsAt Chepstow today in the 2.40 Made To Ransom is a very interesting runner in this maiden. This gelding by Red Ransom has been off the course since the Autumn of 2007 where he ran an excellent third to the smart Twice Over at HQ.I was on course that day and he left me the impression that there was plenty of scope for improvement. He is a well balanced individual and a typical son of his illustrious sire. His conditioner would not have kept him in training if he did not think he had a future. If he has physically progressed and he is sound he could quite easily win this race with the minimum of fuss.
