Posted on January 31st, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Penrod Ballantyne in the 17.20 at Wolverhampton.This colt by the late Indian Ridge made his debut last October when finishing ninth to Mufarrh in a Leicester maiden.I think that was a promising effort and he should show improvement today.I think he will run well in this race that will not take a lot of winning

Posted on January 31st, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Fin Vin De Leu in the 13.45 at Plumpton.This individual was a consistent handicapper on the flat and won a couple of races last year.Today he makes his hurdles debut in this interesting race and his trainer should have him ready to do himself justice.I think he will run well at a fair price and may give the favourite Alhaque something to think about. -

Posted on January 29th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Time For Rupert in the 15.40 at Cheltenham.This lightly raced individual put up a really solid effort last time out when winning a good handicap over this course last month.He has no ground issues today and will have no problem coming up the hill.I do not think we have seen the best of him yet and i believe he has more to offer.I think he will run well at a decent price -

Posted on January 28th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Nice One Eric in the 13.30 at Newbury.This gelding is slowly coming to hand and put up an improved effort when finishing second to Saldan Light over this course last month.Today he faces another good field but i think he has enough improvement in him to be competitive

Posted on January 27th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Riskareas in the 13.15 at Warwick.This French import has one race under his belt when finishing third in a hurdle race at Nantes.The Alan King stable is beginning to fire after a cold spell and this horse should be ready to do himself justice in this event.I do not think this race will take a great deal of winning and he could go close

Posted on January 26th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Action Impact in the 13.20 at Huntingdon.This individual created a favourable impression on his hurdles debut when finishing third to Quantativeeasing at Newbury last month.He was sent off at huge odds but he finished the race with interest and gave me the impression he would benefit from the outing.He should be involved in the finish today

Posted on January 25th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Misstree Dancer in the 13.40 at Leicester.This mare is improving with racing and put up a fair effort last time out when finishing third to Asturienne at Taunton.She has form in testing conditions and will have no stamina issues in this event.I think she could be involved in the finish at a big price.

Posted on January 24th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Bygones Of Brid in the 15.00 at Newcastle.This talented individual finished a fair fifth to Tell Massini at Cheltenham in December.Today he faces a very short priced favourite but he brings a fair level of form to the table and is sure to run well.He has a good attitude and could make things interesting if he can get Washington Irving off the bridle

Posted on January 22nd, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Oh Crick in the 14.40 at Ascot.This gelding ran as if he needed the race when finishing fifth to Planet Of Sound in the Haldon Chase at Exeter last November.Today he faces a very stiff task but he is a lightly raced individual with some upside.I think he could run well at a huge price in this very good event
