Posted on February 8th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Benny Be Good in the 14.40 at Sedgfield.This gelding put up an improved effort last time out when finishing third to Tara Royal over this course last month.I think he can move forward again today and should be involved in the finish

Posted on February 7th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Sarando in the 14.20 at Lingfield.This gelding is improving with racing and put up a decent effort when finishing second to Salden Light at Plumpton last month.He showed a willing attitude all the way to the line and is clearly going the right way.I think he will run well today and should be involved in the finish

Posted on February 7th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Fiendish Flame in the 15.00 at Musselburgh.This six year old finished third to the well regarded Mad Max at Kempton in January.He is a sound jumper and likes to make the running and should be suited by the course today.If he can establish an early lead he could give this field plenty to think about

Posted on February 5th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Rajamand in the 14.05 at Sandown.This gelding created a favourable impression in his hurdles debut when finishing third to Orzare at Newbury.He was in contention until he made a very bad mistake three flights from home and in the circumstances did well to hold on for a place.I think he will show some improvement today and should run well -

Posted on February 5th, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Barfundle in the 15.20 at Catterick.This gelding put up a very respectable effort last time out when beating Brimley easily at Hereford in December. He showed a willing attitude all the way to the line and won going away.I think he has some improvement in him and should be involved in the finish today

Posted on February 2nd, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is General Kutuzov in the 13.45 at Leicester.This novice put up a good effort when beating Quintessentially at Lingfield last month in testing conditions.He is progressing well with racing and should move forward again in this race .I think he will be involved in the finish

Posted on February 2nd, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Mister Stickler in the 14.10 at Taunton.This gelding put up a fair effort last time out when finishing seventh to Gifted Leader at Southwell.He was putting in some nice work at the end of the race and should show some improvement in this race .Today he faces a short priced favourite but i think he could run well at a decent price -

Posted on January 31st, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Penrod Ballantyne in the 17.20 at Wolverhampton.This colt by the late Indian Ridge made his debut last October when finishing ninth to Mufarrh in a Leicester maiden.I think that was a promising effort and he should show improvement today.I think he will run well in this race that will not take a lot of winning

Posted on January 31st, 2010 No commentsToday’s 80/20 is Fin Vin De Leu in the 13.45 at Plumpton.This individual was a consistent handicapper on the flat and won a couple of races last year.Today he makes his hurdles debut in this interesting race and his trainer should have him ready to do himself justice.I think he will run well at a fair price and may give the favourite Alhaque something to think about.
